Vina Tsakali studied Linguistics at the University of Athens (BA 1998) and did her postgraduate studies in Theoretical Linguistics at University College London (MA 2000). She completed her Ph.D. at University College London (2006) in the field of Theoretical Linguistics/ Language Acquisition. She has taught at the Universities of Crete (Greece), University of Ioannina (Greece), Technological & Educational University of West Greece, Patras, Northeastern University (Boston) and European University of Cyprus. Since 2014 she is a Lecturer at the University of Crete. Her research interests lie in the areas of theoretical linguistics, language acquisition and processing, language disorders and second language learning.
